The Confirmation of Permanent Residency is the official document which confirms your Permanent Resident status in Canada. However, in order to facilitate travel for the Permanent Residents, a PR Card is issued which is valid for a period of 5 years.
After every 5 years the PR Card is renewed by applying to IRCC where an officer determines whether you have maintained the residency obligations as stated in IRPA.
The Residency Obligations under IRPA states that a permanent Resident must be present in Canada for a minimum amount of 730 days within the last 5 years in order to renew their PR status
We will help you assess and prepare your PR Renewal applications.
In some cases, some PR are not able to maintain the required number of days inside Canada and thus risk losing their Permanent Residency. However, they have other options as well
Please contact us to know the options and assess those.
“ My overall experience has been amazing. All the staff members treated me very nicely. They answered all my queries and solved my confusion regarding my study visa extension process. I highly recommend sky-wheel immigration to everyone to save money and time as well.”
